Clinically Focused
PsychoEducation & Training
Partnering and parenting through a multigenerational and reflective lens. Our PsychoEducation motto is to bring awareness to all. We strive to bring awareness education to multi-systemic platforms. Listen and learn.
A reflective lens is a practice that one learns over time. One becomes more reflective with pause, space, and intentionality. These elements help to create, build, share, and work towards deeper, more meaningful understanding. Building guided capacity to think within oneself, and collectively, without losing oneself, becomes a harmonious experience.
Psycho Education and Training
Maya Angelou stated, do your best until you know better, then when you know better, do better. Here at Peaces 'n PuzSouls, we believe that people can have healthier, less dis-ordered, and dis-eased ways of relating if they take the time to listen and learn from one another.
Our conceptual work is twofold. It is designed to provide experiential insight for the (1) caregiver-child and (2) the partnering professional. This conceptual work is geared towards Caregivers, Clinicians, Social Workers, Social Service Professionals, Psychologists, Counselors, Educators, Infant Mental-Health Specialists, Medical Providers, Nurses, and Corrections, including Court and Guardian Ad Litem Professionals.
Let us help you strengthen and synthesize the work you do.
Whether you are a caregiver wanting to transmit good things to your children, or a professional who wants to assist in this process, this training will help you to focus on well-being for self and others, especially the children you care for and serve. Parents want to work with professionals committed to doing the work with them, not for them.
Peaces 'n PuzSouls uses a psychodynamic and reflective approach to underpin its psychoeducational training. We use your feedback to offer tailored experiences. It is our greatest joy to create safe and brave spaces for everyone to feel included and represented.
The purpose of our training is to assist you, in holding all relationships. A professional view into multilayered relationships will take you on a journey of varying degrees. Our training messages will explore and challenge overarching beliefs and biases you hold.
The voice of the professional, parent, and child will move this work. Culture and race will influence this work. You will focus on strengthening what you already know while learning new ways of listening to what you don't know. Research, alongside real experiences, will inform our work together. Get ready to stretch yourself.
Early intervention includes family systems communicating stories and agency systems listening and asking questions. Parents and professionals alike, have the power to recognize that to be effective, genuine working relationships and partnerships, must lead. To impact systems that support children, families, and professionals, you must understand your role, and do your part. All too often, relationship-based work does not include an actual relationship (Dr. Sweeney, 2018).
Our organization is passionate about working with you and helping you to expand the possibilities of positive, healthy engagements, between professionals, caregivers, and children. Please join us for courageous conversation, stay for the training.
